Eddy Current Testing: Welds Level 3

Why attend this course?

This course is suitable for experienced personnel with existing Eddy Current knowledge. The course is designed to provide a more profound knowledge within Eddy Current Testing and to educate in the production of written procedures.

This course is PCN approved and provides excellent preparation for the Level 3 examination as specified by the relevant PCN documentation.

Can I attend this course?

To qualify direct to Level 3, ISO 9712 dictates that candidates must complete the Level 1, 2 and 3 training courses and also have a minimum of 48 months relevant experience prior to sitting the PCN examination (reductions available – see latest issue of PCN/GEN).

If the student/candidate does not already hold a current BINDT recognised Eddy Current Welds Level 2 certificate the practical element of the Level 2 examination must be successfully completed as part of the Level 3 examination.

Special note: Candidates attempting a PCN examination must meet the PCN/GEN requirements. If attempting an SNT-TC-1A/EN4179/NAS410 examination the requirements of your company’s written practice must be met.
