Painting Inspector: Review and Update ICorr

Why attend this course?

This course allows ICorr-certificated Painting Inspectors to extend their qualification for a further five years without examination, providing that an examination (or transition) was successfully completed within the last five years. The course is designed to review the information applicable to the Painting Inspector syllabus at all levels and gives up-to-date information on standards, technical developments and trends.

  • Relevant subject areas within the ICORR REQ DOC
  • The ICorr certification scheme
  • Paint application methods
  • Changes to normative documents (primarily ISO, EN and BSI standards)
  • Equipment for surface preparation, paint application and paint/paint film testing
  • Practices and trends

Special note: Attendance of this course does not automatically renew existing certification. Each candidate will be required to complete a Recertification Application Form which is available from the ICorr Test Centre.

Richard Green BSc, Dip Molec Sci, MICorr - Trainer and Examiner

Nigel Peterson-White 

Richard is the Deputy Manager for the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) scheme at IMechE Engineering Training Solutions having joined in 2003 and is also the Chairman of the Yorkshire ICorr Branch.

Institute of Corrosion (ICorr): Painting Inspector Level 3, Pipeline Coating Inspector Level 2, Fireproofing Inspector Level 2, Insulation Inspector Level 2, Hot Dip Galvanizing Inspector Level 2
BGAS: Senior Paint Inspection, Site Coatings Inspection, Agricultural Environmental Inspection
